Important Notes
Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is a BioThane slip collar, and how does it work?
A slip collar is a simple collar that goes over your dog’s head and works by tightening when the lead is pulled and loosening when the pressure is released. It can be a helpful tool for training and for dogs who need a little extra guidance on walks.
-
Why should I choose BioThane over other materials?
BioThane is durable, lightweight, and waterproof. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t absorb moisture, dirt, or odours, and has the leather-like look and feel you want with modern-day practicality. Plus, it stays light even when wet, making it comfortable for your dog to wear.
-
Can I customise the length or colour of the slip collar?
Yes, you can choose additional colours, but please let us know your dog's neck and head size (circumference at the widest point) to ensure a proper fit.
-
How do I clean my BioThane slip collar?
Simply wash the lead in soapy water and hang it to dry. BioThane material is low maintenance and doesn’t absorb water, so it remains clean and dry even after exposure to moisture.
