Mānuka wood is naturally fibrous and dense, making it suitable even for enthusiastic chewers. As your dog works away at their Bonno, small wood-shaving-like fragments are chewed off — these pieces are blunt and soft, not sharp splinters.
The fragments are mainly natural fibre, similar to plant fibre in diets. While not digestible, fibre supports healthy digestion in the same way it does for humans. Mānuka wood is also free from essential oils, making it a safe option for regular chewing.
